Our Mission

Established in 1965, the mission of the Dodge County Toy Bank is to make sure every child in Dodge County, WI has at least one gift to open on Christmas Day.

The Toy Bank annually collects monetary and toy contributions from Dodge County businesses and residents and uses these contributions to provide toys to families in need. Each year the Toy Bank provides toys for over 1,100 children throughout the county.

Is Dodge County Toy Bank a nonprofit organization?

The Dodge County Toy Bank is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

When can I donate?

The Toy Bank’s major fundraising campaign and toy collection efforts occur annually from October through December; however, contributions are gratefully accepted throughout the year.

How do you choose who receives the gifts?

Parents whose income is at or below federal poverty guidelines and wishing assistance with providing gifts to their children at Christmas have the opportunity in October and November to complete an application. Applications are obtained from agencies throughout Dodge County that assist low-income residents, such as Dodge County Human Services, Clothes 4 Kids, Energy Services Inc., St. Vincent DePaul Society, PAVE, and Dodge County school district offices.

Who receives the gifts?

Gifts are provided for children age newborn through age 15. All contributions are used to assist Dodge County families and children.

Can I volunteer?

Volunteers serve on the committee which coordinates all aspects of fundraising, collecting and processing applications, and purchasing, bagging and distributing gifts to families. The headquarters for the Toy Bank is The American National Bank of Beaver Dam.
